Volunteering and working
Still volunteering in your thirties?! This may sound weird but there are so many benefits, things I couldn't get otherwise. Yes, I'm on a different career path than other people. I don't have lots of money in the bank, a house and a nice car. However, I have freedom to go where I want and learn what I want in a low-stress environment.
To have a good volunteering experience and learn the things I want, I have to be selective in the projects I choose. Also, to maintain personal financial independence I regularly have to work in between volunteering positions.
