What started out as a wish to learn more about farming in another country has resulted in a profound journey across different countries and continents. After travelling and living abroad, my interests have expanded beyond sustainable agriculture to include culture exchange, teaching English and global citizenship education.

With each volunteering position and job I take on, I improve my skills. But there are many more places to visit and there is much more to learn. That's why I need you! Do you have a farm, a school or other project where I can make a difference? Let's connect!

Sustainable farming

Farming is often seen as a boring and low-status job but a well-designed farm can produce nutritious food and provide people with a livelihood they can be proud of. Moreover, by using sustainable farming methods, we can restore our degraded ecosystems and rebuild our soils.

Teaching English

By using materials that are based on real-life situations, I create lessons that are fun and engaging. In my classroom mistakes are welcomed because they are a necessary step in the learning process. In this way I try to make students comfortable in using English both inside and outside the classroom.

Global citizenship education

There are many complex, global issues that require solidarity beyond borders and a collaborative approach. Students have to gain cultural awareness and develop empathy to become successful in a multi-cultural, increasingly globalised work environment.
